[Everything on it was from Sephora.] I have dark brown eyes, and these colors look great with them.
I have dark brown eyes, and the two shades in Rated R look great with them.

The other color is a dark purple, which is great for the crease.

I like the Duo Eye shadow that I bought. the minty green color was much more blue and a stronger pigment than I was expecting-hoping for, but I saw it in store a long time ago and would have bought it anyway.

.No other comapny makes colors like this-The duo shadow comes with not only two complimentary shadows, but the shimmer in the actual colors are different for each color- the purplish color has tiny tiny glimmers that catch the light and looks so pretty-but not CHILDISH!!The other color is more of a shimmer, and has no loose glitter or shimmer- Looks so pretty all over the lid!Overall a good splurge item- and you have a BUNCH of choices!!

The purple/reddish shadow of the combination comes out a little bit more reddish on me than in the pan, but i've found a perfect solution for making the rich purple/blues stand out more--layer the shadow over a purple liner

You can apply it sheer for daytime, but at night time, amp it up and get a wicked smokey eye! The colour combinations are excellent, some of them look a little crazy, but the colours are incredibly wearable

[Everything on it was from Sephora.] This duo reminds me of the shimmering sea by The French Riviera, Monte Carlo, and Cannes although it apparently reminds Francois Nars of the South Pacific.

Majority of the NARS' shadows are variations on neutral tones and there are not too many crazy and wild colors but that is okay.

[ All About Eve" duo: A HAPPY REPURCHASE!] The neutral, cream colors take me from a" no makeup" makeup look to the cornerstone of a buildable day-into-night look by only adding a darker crease color of choice.

The" gold flecks" come off more like glitter very shiny glitter and really looks garish for daytime use, even if you use it sparingly.

But the darker shade does not really show well on my skintone, so it's not very useful for more complex looks.

My only complaint about this eye shadow duo in All About Eve is that it is not at all like the picture shown ; it really is exactly as described(shimmering flesh, shimmering neutral ), just not like the pictured colors.

the duo did not make it for me, although most of nars colors are highly pigmented, this one was not that much of a striking color. the pink is too soft and the bronze you barely see it.

There's chunky pieces of gold flicks in the shadows, but it does not appear that obvious on my lids(I would usually gently tap my brush to reduce the gold flicks ).

Olive side is a different story, the shimmer disappears when you try to blend the shadow and you are left with the dark base, it ends up looking very dirty.

I really do not like Cordura ; I find that the darker brown smears where I do not want it.

This is a very wearable duo of copper-y-apricot shimmer shadows ; one light and one a bit deeper.

I think this would look great on darker skin tones too for a smoldering bronzey eye.

The gold infusions here are not the chunky glitters aimed for the younger makeup fan, but are a smooth, subtle glow, a simmer of ripeness and lusciousness, that brings to mind the skilled cocquettry which inspired" Dangerous Liaisions" and the works of Colette.

[ love the Taiga colors!] It come out a little brown-like due to the gold sparkle with the dark grey.

NARS is known for its avant garde colors and especially its wild duo pairings, however this one has a bit of a delicate hand.

Nars eyedshadow are on the pricey side, but I definitely think you get your money's worth.
